In 1948, Israel was founded as a state, Israel declares independence as British leave Palestine. This instantly started conflict and war. From November 29 1947 to July 20, 1949, the War of Independence was occurring. This was an Israeli War fought between the State of Israel and a military coalition of Arab states, forming the second stage of the Palestine war. On May 11, 1949, Israel was accepted into the United Nations as the 59Th member. This was a big deal for Israel to be accepted. Then, Jerusalem was declared as the capital of Israel. This became a milestone because the country was becoming more and more developed. On June 5th, the Six-Day War began causing tension between the countries. On August 13th, 2013 the peace talk resumed. Israel has had a lot of ups and downs throughout their existence which makes it a very special country.
