Status of Education
Israel’s education system is made up for six years of primary education and six years of secondary education. Secondary education includes three years of middle school and three years of high school. Majority of schools in Israel are public and publicly funded which allows majority of students to be in a classroom. Israel has four separate school systems including; State, State-religious, Arab and Ultra-Orthodox. This can cause issues leads to ineffective management and deployment of teachers. This can result in lower student/teacher ratios. A divided school system also raises the issue of segregation and divides the different school systems creating stereotypes. Aside from these cons, having four different school systems means that there is a school system that will fit the needs of many families. Here is a grap that represents the four different school systems:
To improve the quality of learning you have to improve the quality of the teachers. The New Horizons program was launched in the schools which engaged the teacher working time in schools to increase to make time for small group teaching. The starting pay for teacher is increased including a more generous pay scale to administration. All primary teachers must acquire an academic degree. All these necessary steps have been made to improve the quality of learning in Israel school districts. Schulz, Wolfram, John Ainley, Julian Fraillon, David Kerr, and Bruno Losito. Fostering global citizenship is represented by the schools and how they reflect and reinforce social structures and attitudes. There is a program called SID Israel, which is a program for Israeli students that deal with global citizenship and engage the students with a variety of discussions regarding global issues. This program targets Israeli youth to inspire and spark a new interest for the next generation. The goal of the program is to improve awareness of the youth and create solidarity that exceeds the borders of Israel. This project is the starting point for a global initiative to increase awareness for people who just simply do not know better. Global Citizenship Education Program. (n.d.). Goods and Resources
Natural resources are produced in Israel, they are minerals, wood and metal, soils, natural gas and cruse oils. Goods will be produced from the natural resources by creating fertilizers, timber, mud from the Dead Sea and oils.
These natural resources are hard to come by since they cannot be produced. These substances are useful for agriculture and industry.
These goods will be exported and sold since they are how Israel makes a profit.

The country I am researching is Israel. The economic system in Israel is heavily involved with technology, exports, pharmaceuticals and crude oil, called a market type economic system. Israel uses all of their resources, comparing Israel to other countries, they use more of their natural resources to create a market of selling their goods. Israel's poverty rate is about 21% compared to the United States which is 14.3%. I think this is because the United States has shelters and homes, making an effort to diminish the rates. Labor distribution in industry in Israel is 17.3%. Labor force in the United States is 11%. I think that Israel has a higher labor force rate is because they have more natural resources to produce. GDP in Israel is 36,051.15 USD. GDP stands for gross domestic product.
